Koi Kichi Auction was founded by Wes Parker, Owner of Children of the Sun Koi. Koi were perfected in Japan, hence the name-Children of the Sun Koi.
Koi Kichi Auction was invented to enjoy koi while the ones you already own are asleep and you are relaxing taking in all that a koi kichi has available. The moon in the header of the site, therefore, signifies the night-the exact oppisite from the sun - Children of the Sun Koi - Antonym- Koi Kichi Auction!
How?
koi Kichi Auction is operated by Children of the Sun Koi. Many hours ave been givin to provide you, the koi kichi, the best possible look at the koi. There will never be a picture that does justice to any koi. It would be likened to taking a picture of a diamond and trying to sell it to a friend. Koi are best pondered and wondered at in person, allowing the gem to be taken in its full glory!
Why?
We started koi kichi Auction because we are one just like you. We love koi and love to see you love them. We would love to keep every koi that comes into our facility, however if we did that, we would have poor water conditions, poor health conditions, and poor growth rates. The auction is designed to give a home to high quality koi that need a home. The koi are a very high grade and are out growing their current area.
Where?
Koi Kichi Auction is Located in Vancouver, WA USA. The water is soft and the weather is cold in the winter and great in the summer. There is no other place so unique as the Great Northwest!
When?
There is an auction starting every Sunday and also ending in the same time. The time at the end is a real set, exact time. The start time is not so time expectant but will come about. If you do not see a live auction that means that we ran out of koi or I am on Vacation for the Week!
